Today, the Ohio State University Marching band paid a special tribute to Rush and Neil Peart with a stunning halftime performance during the university's football game. The 9+ minute performance includes songs from A Farewell to Kings, Permanent Waves, and Moving Pictures (though the announcer erroneously stated that one song was from the band's 2112 album). Ohio State University is considered to have the premiere collegiate marching band in the country, and their transformative performance and marching precision from today's show certainly strengthens that point. You can watch their performance below, or directly at this LINK . Screencaptures from key moments in their performance are also available below. Oh, and for those of you interested in the game, the Ohio State Buckeyes won the game by a score of 66-17 versus the Maryland Terrapins. Comments
