Rush: The Albums: 2002 - 2012 7-CD Box Set Coming this June

Following the successful releases of the limited edition vinyl box set The Albums: 1989-1996 in November and the career-spanning R50 box set this past March, it appears that Rush are gearing up to release a new collection. A 7-CD offering, tentatively titled Rush: The Albums: 2002 - 2012, has surfaced on the radar of keen-eyed fans.

While official confirmation from the band or their label remains elusive, a pre-order link has surfaced on the prominent British music website www.juno.co.uk, listing the set at a price of £135.00 (approximately $167.43 USD) with a release date of June 6th. This unexpected appearance has ignited speculation and excitement within the Rush fanbase.

Beyond the title and price point, concrete details about the contents of this upcoming box set are currently scarce. However, given that Rush released their final four studio albums within this ten-year period – Vapor Trails (2002), the covers EP Feedback (2004), Snakes & Arrows (2007), and their critically acclaimed swansong, Clockwork Angels (2012) – it's almost certain these will form the core of the collection.

The intriguing question lies in the allocation of the remaining three CDs. It seems highly probable that these discs will be dedicated to live recordings from this era. Possibilities range from complete, previously unreleased concerts to a curated selection of the best performances captured during the tours supporting these albums. Time will tell.

We'll post additional information on this release as it becomes available.
