Rush Announce New Vinyl Box Set - The Albums: 1989-1996

Rush has just announced a new 6LP Atlantic Years Box Set, dubbed Rush, The Albums: 1989-1996 , which will be available on November 1st. Rush’s first four albums with Atlantic Records will be reissued on vinyl in an upcoming boxed set that includes Presto (1989), Roll the Bones (1991), Counterparts (1993), and Test for Echo (1996). The new collection covers the first four albums that Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart recorded for Atlantic Records before their hiatus in 1997. Each album includes a print of reimagined cover artwork and is housed in a slipcase featuring new artwork by award-winning artist Hugh Syme, who has created all of Rush’s album cover art since 1975. Presto is Rush’s thirteenth studio album and their first with Atlantic Records. The gold-certified record reached No. 16 on the Billboard, marking a more guitar-centric sound for the band. Geddy Lee Set to Release a New Book in 2025 - 72 Stories

72 Stories "> Geddy Lee will soon publish a new book about his sizeable collection of baseball memorabilia. Retail listings have emerged online for a new release authored by Lee titled 72 Stories , set for release on May 13, 2025, via HarperCollins. 72 Stories was previously a limited edition release gifted to select winning bidders in Lee's 2023 memorabilia auction of items from his massive collection. The auction guide noted that the "beautifully photographed" book focuses on collected items that were among the Rush member's favourites. Speaking with Illinois Entertainer magazine ahead of the auction last year, Lee divulged of 72 Stories, "It's a collection of stories from some of my favourite items in my collection. Maybe I'll release it on opening day next year, I don't know. ... [The book] came together in a relatively painless way. I wrote it with my co-writer, Daniel Richler. Third Annual Bubba Bash: A Celebration of Neil Peart Coming January 4th, 2025

January 7th, 2025 will mark the fidth anniversary of the tragic death of Neil Peart. As a testament to his continued influence to fans and musicians across the globe, a charity concert will take place in his honor on Saturday, January 4th, 2025. This third annual Bubba Bash: A Celebration of Neil Peart concert was originally conceived by the Rush tribute band YYNOT and will take place at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, Pennsylvania, a northern suburb of Philadelphia. The concert will feature YYNOT, Jonny Dinklage, Jason Bittner, Ed Toth, Tyson Leslie, Tyler Warren, Frank Bello, John Wesley, Joe Bergamini, k0ko p0well, Randy Jackson, Seven Antonopoulos. The event will also be hosted by Cathy Rankin. Ever since 2020, and precisely on September 12th each year, RUSHfest Scotland have released tribute albums dedicated to the memory of Neil Peart. Gathering Rush tribute bands from across the globe, the first four volumes of "Tributes" have been met with critical applause throughout the Rush community. The fifth volume is now available . As with all prior volumes, all proceeds from the sale of the tribute albums are donated to Cancer Support Scotland .
