For Rush fans who want to get another taste of their favorite band among like-minded people, there will be two fan events coming to Toronto this August. The first event, taking place on August 1st and 2nd, is RushFest Canada , curated by RUSHfest Scotland founder Steve Brown and Canadian superfan/music journalist Paul Beaulieu. This event marks 10 years to the day since Rush played their final concert in Los Angeles on August 1, 2015. It's designed as a "legacy event" to honor the band, especially drummer and lyricist Neil Peart.
