Alex Lifeson Donates Original Painting for Brush of Hope Charity Auction
Update: Alex's painting sold for an impressive $8,700 CAN. Congrats to the lucky winner!
As he has done numerous times in the past, Alex Lifeson has once again created a unique painting for the Kidney Foundation of Canada's annual Brush of Hope charity auction.

This years painting, which Alex titled "Aquarium," is currently being auctioned off on Ebay.Ca at this LINK, and it's already off to a quick start. The auction ends on November 8th. To see a larger version of Alex's painting, click HERE.

About the Brush of Hope Charity auction:
A Brush of Hope – Celebrity Paintings for Kidney Research is an annual fundraising event held each fall in support of The Kidney Foundation of Canada-Atlantic Branch. It is the generosity of our partners that have enabled us to make this event such a huge success, and in our 10th year, we are excited to make it bigger and better than ever in 2016!

Alex Lifeson, Don Cherry, Brent Butt, Barenaked Ladies, Alan Doyle and Leonard Cohen are just a few of the celebrities who have taken up a brush to create an original masterpiece to help the 1 in 10 Canadians who are living with kidney disease.

Thanks to the generous support of our partners and the community, since 2006, A Brush of Hope has raised over $110,000 for research, programs and patient services! Also thanks to the Alex Lifeson (of the band RUSH) limited edition prints, we have raised an additional $120,000 since November of 2011!
For more information about the Kidney Foundation, please visit their website at www.kidney.ca, or check out their Facebook page HERE.
