About the Brush of Hope Charity auction:
A Brush of Hope – Celebrity Paintings for Kidney Research is an annual fundraising event held each fall in support of The Kidney Foundation of Canada-Atlantic Branch. It is the generosity of our partners that have enabled us to make this event such a huge success, and in our 10th year, we are excited to make it bigger and better than ever in 2016!

Alex Lifeson, Don Cherry, Brent Butt, Barenaked Ladies, Alan Doyle and Leonard Cohen are just a few of the celebrities who have taken up a brush to create an original masterpiece to help the 1 in 10 Canadians who are living with kidney disease.

Thanks to the generous support of our partners and the community, since 2006, A Brush of Hope has raised over $110,000 for research, programs and patient services! Also thanks to the Alex Lifeson (of the band RUSH) limited edition prints, we have raised an additional $120,000 since November of 2011!
