  1. Trying to determine what role music today plays in this whole thing. I got my citi card and thought when the presale happened I would just go to ticketmaster and order. Am I wrong? Thx

  2. So it appears that many say sometimes you get better seats at the regular sale vs. presale which happened to me for the first Time Machine leg. Others say go into the presale and hang for about an hour as good seats pop up with no rational sequence. Gone are the good ole days where you could go to the local record store and have the same chance as everyone else. It is very lame!

    1. It is bizarre, Jim. I've heard the same however GENERALLY SPEAKING, the fan pre-sale will net you the best results over the general sale. Now, for Citibank, I have to think that you'll get seats as good as the fan-presale...

Best of luck! Let us know how you make out...

  3. John,

I know I am difficult and try not to be clueless. Is it necessary for me (not getting the VIP package) to do anything on MusicToday or will I just go to ticketmaster, put in my card # and code and get tix?

    Thx

    1. For the CitiBank pre-sale, I think you have to go here:

  4. I'm guessing RedRocks is later. No Colorado dates. I suspect these special seats will be available once dates are set for Colorado for me then.

  5. i'm going to my 1st BTR concert on Feb 22..I'm a huge fan of Rush. I have all of their cds and dvds . I always do! i also got Rush tickets but i don't get to meet them cuz I didn't get VIP. I'm sooo excited! I missed the first time they were in Colorado cuz my cousins were in town and my parents wouldn't take me.

  6. So John,

After all the info I am receiving it appears that the Music Today sales are a day earlier than the Citi sales with a codeword of headlong. Does that mean anyone can go on Ticketmaster on those mondays (next monday for me) and enter headlong and order away? If so, I guess I have a new credit card. :>) Thx

    1. MusicToday doesn't require a password (headlong). That's actually for the VIP Nation sales and for the package deal (which a lot of people are complaining about). So if MusicToday is earlier than the CitiBank pre-sale, you should definitely go that route...

      Good luck!
